What is at-will employment?

At-will employment means that an employee can be terminated at any time for any reason or for no reason at all.  There are, however, many exceptions to the default rule of employment-at-will, including federal and state anti-discrimination and anti-retaliation laws.

For example, whistleblower protection laws prohibit employers from retaliating against whistleblowers.  To find out if you have a claim, call Zuckerman Law at 202-262-8959.  The firm handles certain whistleblower claims nationally and handles employment-related claims in Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland.

He is rated 10 out of 10 by Avvo, was recognized by Washingtonian magazine as a “Top Whistleblower Lawyer” in 2015 and selected by his peers to be included in The Best Lawyers in America® and in SuperLawyers.
